Q: How long does it take for my account to be ready for investment?

Getting your Afrinvestor account set up only takes minutes. However, you will need to have a CSCS Number – a unique account where all your shares will be held – before you can start trading. It takes between 24-48 hours after submitting the account opening requirements for a CSCS account to be processed. The CSCS account is a regulatory requirement, and it is created by the Central Securities Clearing System Plc. You will be notified once your CSCS account is ready.
